Juan Manuel Baamonde Print
Juan Manuel was born in Lanús Oeste (Buenos Aires, Argentina). In the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) he got his degree of Technician for Animal Facility in 1999. He worked during the period 2000-2004 in the Biotechnological Laboratory Biosidus, in an area assigned to the animal facility. In 2004 he was hired by the Centro de Estudios Científicos (CECs) for actively participate in the design, construction and equipping of the Animal Facility of the Functional Genomics Unit. He currently is in charge of Animal Facility manager. In 2007 he created the web site Bioterios.com, reference portal in Spanish about on the care and use of laboratory animals in Latin America, he is the General Editor. The Americas Regional Committee (ARC) of the International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) chose Bioterios.com to develop an electronic journal that allows associations of animals of laboratory of the latin language the exchange information and scientific papers, where it has been appointed editor of the magazine.
