Chilean President, Michelle Bachelet, appointed Jorge Zanelli, researcher of the Theoretical Physics Laboratory of CECs, as member of the board of the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission (CChEN)

The physicist will serve in this important public assignment contributing with his vast experience in matters related to nuclear energy.

This appointment is added to a long history of service to the country, which includes his participation in the Advisory Committee for the Electrical Development during the administration of former President Sebastian Pinera and his role as Chairman of the Special Presidential Advisory Commission on the use of nuclear energy during the first government of President Bachelet.
