.Pablo was born in Concepción, Chile in 1988. He completed his bachelor degree in physics and then he received a degree in Geophysics from Universidad de Concepción in 2016. During his academic formation, he developed a strong interest in atmospheric sciences, particularly in subjects related to mountain meteorology, mesoscale dynamics and studies of the winds in mountain valleys. In 2015, Pablo did an internship in the Center for Climate and Resilience Research (CR)2 where he contributed in the analysis of the hydrological impact of the 2010 - 2015 mega-drought in central Chile. His thesis was about the regional analysis of foehn-like winds events, locally named Puelche winds, over the Laja river valley located in the western side of the south Chilean Andes.

Pablo joined the Glaciology team of CECs in December 2016 to collaborate in the study of glacier-atmosphere interaction trougth the monitoring and analysis of meteorological data obtained from automatic weather station, products for atmospheric research and the implementation of numerical models.
