David Tempo was born in Venezuela and studied physics at the Universidad de los Andes (ULA) in Mérida, where he received his B.Sc. degree in Physics in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Alejandra Melfo. In his B.Sc. thesis he studied the problem of fermion localization on thick branes. In 2006, he enrolled in the PhD program in Physics at the Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) in Chile.
His doctoral thesis, under the supervision of Ricardo Troncoso, is related to the studied of the gravitation and matter fields in spacetimes with nontrivial asymptotic structure. SELECTED PUBLICATIONS
