Diego Correa was born in La Plata and studied physics in the University of La Plata. In 2000 he obtained his B.Sc in Physics and in 2003 his Ph. D. In his Ph.D thesis, under the advisement of Fidel Schaposnik, he has studied different classical and quantum aspects of noncommutative field theories.
In 2004 Diego joined the University of California at Santa Barbara with a postdoctoral position for one year. Currently, he is working in the AdS/CFT correspondence, a duality relating string theories and gauge theories. In particular, he is interested in certain limit, known as BMN limit, which gives rise to lots of explicit tests of the correspondence. SELECTED PUBLICATIONS
