After the uneventful return to Rothera by a BAS Twin Otter (DHC-6), the team spent a pleasant New Years Eve with the British team in Rothera. On January 2nd, climatic conditions allowed for an early return flight to Punta Arenas after spending all the night preparing the equipment for shipping. In the afternoon they arrived back to Punta Arenas in a BAS Dash-7 (DHC-7), looking back on another intensive but successful campaign to Fleming Glacier.
